PLAY IRISH is a new initiative by IASCA to increase the amount of music from Irish bands/artists played on our airwaves. The project involves the local music industry in each county working together for their mutual benefit and centres around a daytime local radio slot called PLAY IRISH·- spotlighting music of all genres by Irish artists/bands on day time radio. The wonderful folk at Galway Bay FM have agreed to pilot the project on Jon Richards' show at 3.30pm every day beginning Monday April 4th.

Once successful the project will roll out into other counties and the aim eventually to run on national radio. Tune into Galway Bay FM this Monday and support Irish Radio supporting Irish Artists.
